How to use your iPhone to control your TV
NewKinetix Rē

We love tech and gadgets here and couldn’t wait to get our hands on the Rē iPhone Universal Remote Control. We’ve been using it for a few months now and just love it. Finally, operating our myriad of A/V equipment makes sense.
We’ve been using a universal remote for years but it was always less than intuitive (and it’s twice the size of the iPhone). Now with one button I can turn on and set up the components to watch a DVD or the DVR… so easy.
The Rē costs $69.95 and plugs into the dock port on your iPhone or iPod Touch. It’s easy to setup and “learn” your devices, add keypad buttons to the screen, and make favorites. It’s also upgradable.

Verizon FIOS DVR Manager iPhone App
If you have Verizon FIOS and an iPhone, you’ll want this app. Finally, Verizon allows you to program your DVR from the iPhone. Schedule recordings and series, search listings, check the space left on the DVR all from your iPhone now. Fantastic.
We find that using the iPhone app is faster than using the web browser manager, too. Get it free in the iTunes Store.
