Our Design Process

If you’ve never had anything designed for your company or worked with graphic designers before, you may not know what to expect. Or maybe you’ve had a bad experience with a less-than-professional designer and are a little hesitant to give it another go.

 

You’ll find we’re pretty easy-going yet detail-orientated and organized, and will make your project go as smoothly as possible.

 

We're a small, 2-person studio so you'll be dealing directly with an owner. Dawn handles the print and web design projects, while Tom handles video/dvd design, and we both consult on new media.

• We'll listen to your project needs.

• We’ll ask you questions about your business, your current marketing efforts, and what results you want to achieve.

• We’ll explain your design options.

• A project estimate is provided.

• We'll gather source material from you: logos, photos, text.

• Design proofs are presented online or via email.

• When approved, final print projects are sent to the printer or emailed via PDF to you; Web sites are uploaded to the live server; Videos are delivered on DVD or online.

A design project may seem overwhelming until you have the right experts helping you out. We can put things in perspective and offer solutions that you may not have even considered.

 

We're in it for the long-term.

We’re not the “love ‘em and leave ‘em” type. One-off projects are fine, but we really prefer to cultivate long-term relationships with clients. As we work with you and really get to know your business, we can make marketing suggestions and find solutions you may not have thought of.

 

And when you have a new project pop up, we’ll already have your logos and past designs on file, ready to go. If you want to update that brochure we did for you 3 years ago, we’ll have that on file too.

 

Let’s face it: new client acquisition is a time consuming process. It’s really in our best interest to make sure we help you be as successful and satisfied as we possibly can, so you keep coming back.

 

Payment Policy

We provide an estimate detailing the project’s scope and cost. A 50% deposit is required to start the design process, with 50% due at final delivery of the project.
